WHAT WE DO

Statera Legal provides legal support to law firms and legal practitioners who have an overflow of work or need assistance on a specific project. Our contractors work on an ad hoc basis, meaning that you get the help as and when you need it.

Our contractors are experienced enrolled barristers and solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand.

They are available to assist with any work which a law clerk or paralegal would usually undertake (for example research, proofing or drafting).  If you have clients who live in any of the towns or cities in which our contractors reside, then we are able to provide agency services should you require documents signed or witnessed.

WHY USE US?

FLEXIBILITY

You decide when you need the extra help. You get in touch with us and we make our contractors available to you.

COST EFFICIENCY

Because you engage our contractors only when you need the extra help, you avoid costs associated with recruiting, hiring and maintaining permanent staff.

EXPERTISE

Our contractors have over five years’ experience working as a solicitor. They are able to provide general assistance as well as targeted legal assistance in their areas of expertise.  Click here to read more about our contractors.

HOW WE WORK

Statera Legal’s contractors carry out work remotely, online. Statera Legal receives documents and instructions via secure email and uses secure online cloud storage to manage its workload.

If you require a contractor to come into your practice in person, please get in touch with us to discuss.

Once instructions are received, Statera Legal will contact you to discuss time frames for completion of the work and availability of contractors.
